Clean Food To Pack For The Airport!

It might be difficult to eat clean while traveling...but it certainly ISN'T impossible! You can easily bring your own food with you on the plane, BUT, in case you forgot or their were circumstances which made it impossible to do so, there ARE actually some healthy choices at the airport, it just may take some searching on your part. But hey, it's worth it, right?! If you do not have your own food with you, it's super easy to just reach for what's convenient and yummy, but YOUR health is important to you...so skip the bags of chips and candy and stock up instead of fresh fruits, dried fruits, and nuts to munch on during your flight. ALWAYS grab a bottled water instead of a soda, and if you actually have time for a quick meal...SKIP THE MCDONALD'S and look for a restaurant where you can "build your meal" (think along the lines of Chipotle!) Begin your vacation on the right foot by making healthy decisions!

Here's some other ideas for you as well!

Proteins:

Grilled Chicken

Hard Boiled Eggs

Protein Bars (I recommend Quest)

Shakeology (put the powder into plastic bags and bring your Shaker Cup!)

Carbs:

Rice Cakes

Baked Sweet Potatoes

Dry Oats

Apples

Bananas

Dried Fruit (no sugar added)

Fats:

Individual Packets of Peanut Butter or Almond Butter

Almonds

Vegetables:

Cucumbers

Red Peppers
