Beat Belly Bloat!

Summer is HERE! That usually means vacations and trips to the beach, the lake, or somewhere else where you will be sporting little clothing and/or swimsuits. I would like to share with you some foods that might cause bloating...because let's face it...bloating is NOT cute when you want to wear a swimsuit or crop top!

Of course my FIRST tip is to start living a healthy lifestyle (which includes a healthy diet). So, if you haven't already, try to cut out all processed foods. Try sticking to lean protein, complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and LOTS of water.

It takes a while (sometimes months or even YEARS!) to learn your body and what makes you look and feel your very best...but this will give you a starting point on which foods to cut out of your diet before your big events or trips:

CUT OUT:

* Processed Foods

* Carbonated Beverages

* Artificial Sugars

* Gum

* Dairy

* Gluten

* Certain Veggies like Cauliflower & Brocolli

If your goal is to reduce your belly bloat or drop some water weight, I suggest cutting these foods out of your diet completely for at least 1-2 weeks prior to your event/trip. Also...avoid added salt (this usually means cooking your own food) and alcohol! Hope you find these tips helpful! XO, Christy
