Clean Eating Meatballs
Do you crave Spaghetti & Meatballs? I'm pretty sure your answer is YES if you are human! LoL! Now you can eat it and not slip up on your clean eating! Grab a clean pasta sauce like Monte Bene and some brown rice pasta like Jovial and make these meatballs. You will LOVE them!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of Pink Himalayan salt (can be found at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or Amazon)
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1 egg
1 pound of ground chicken or lean ground turkey
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Mix all ingredients into a bowl using your hands to mix and separate ground meat.
3. Shape mixture into 1 inch round meatballs and place on baking sheet or in baking pan.
4. Bake for 23 minutes.
This recipe makes 15, 1 inch meatballs.
